DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION
When it comes to installation our cookers are delivered fully assembled using protective sheets, boards and rollers. The cookers are positioned in your house by our own experienced driver with the utmost care. For our driver to be able to deliver your cooker safely we kindly request that suitable access and assistance is available.
Where the Heritage cooker is being installed onto a boat, we will undertake delivery to the boatyard only. For difficult deliveries “Site Assembly” can be arranged at an additional cost.
We have our own dedicated team of installers who work throughout the South West, so we are very familiar with the issues you can encounter onsite. Please call our experienced advisers to discuss any requirements. (also see www.heatingsw.co.uk)
Since Heritage cookers are designed to be engineer-friendly, any qualified installer who is familiar with modern pressure jet ranges will be able to install and service a Heritage. Please make sure the installer adheres to the current building regulations and our up to date installation manual.
All installation or commissioning must be undertaken by a qualified self certifying OFTEC engineer (see below links) and or under the appropriate building regulations in your area. For boating installations please consult the relevant regulations along with our installation manual.
As with all modern oil appliances, Heritage cookers and boilers require annual servicing to maintain the manufacturers warranty, and to enable it to work in the way it was designed to. Diesel cookers may require more regular servicing due to the type of fuel not being as refined as kerosene.
Heritage Range Cookers reserve the right to change the specifications of its goods from time to time without notice to the customer, in line with its policy of continual development.
